Information For Authors
Interested in submitting to this journal? TxEP: Texas Educator Preparation is the official journal of the Consortium of Texas Teacher Educators. We are interested in manuscripts which disseminate research and practitioner information concerning teacher education and preparation in Texas. TxEP is published annually. Authors should submit their work in the APA 7th edition format. All manuscripts undergo a double blind peer review.
Manuscript submissions for the Spring 2027 volume of TxEP are now open. Proposed manuscripts will undergo a double-blind review process. To be considered, a manuscript must be previously unpublished and not under consideration with another publication. Presentation at the 2026 CSOTTE Conference is not required, but priority will be given to CSOTTE presenters.
Submission directions:
- Before considering submission to TxEP, please review previously published articles and information about the journal to ensure alignment between the proposed manuscript and the journal’s stated purpose: Texas Educator Preparation.
- When ready to submit the manuscript, go to this page and follow the instructions for creating a new submission: Submissions | Texas Educator Preparation.
- The preferred submission deadline is January 15, 2027. Submissions after this date will be accepted but may be considered for a future issue.
The target publication date is Spring 2027. Manuscripts not accepted for publication in this issue may be considered for future issues.
